If you REALLY wanna get technicall, they are wearing tae-kwon-do gear, they are fighting by those rules and are fighting outside of a cage or a ring. So it's not MMA. ;)

He used Kung Fu techiniques while the other one is Taekwon and that alone is mixed for me, just because he didn't fight in a cage and under UFC rules doesn't make it not a mixed style.

I fought under taekwondo rules but I only have Muay Thai experience and I considered that mixed. My brother fought a kick boxer while he is only a boxer and I consider that a mixed martial arts bout, MMA encompases all forms of martial arts. If you think UFC, the cage, the rules and the ring is what defines it, no offense, but that is sad.

As long as it involves more than 1 form of martial art/discipline, then I consider it mixed.

It's a free fight at best. However, when two different styles fight it's still not MMA. Why?

OK, Mixed Martial Arts is a combat form in which any and all martial arts (martial arts, not self-defense systems) are used. However, those two only used TKD and Kung-fu. So, they had a cross style fight at best. They were limited by rules and regulations of their own respective martial arts, thus disabling many techniques allowed in MMA and not using them on purpose. So... It wasn't MMA. A backyard fight is more MMA than this is.
